Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has been arrested for alleged drink driving, according to a report.

Lehmann is famous for being Arsenal’s No 1 goalkeeper during their Invincibles season in the 2003-04 campaign, which saw the Gunners win the Premier League without losing a game.

Since his retirement, he has dabbled in acting and punditry, but, accoridng to The Sun, was pulled over by police in Lederhosen after enjoying Oktoberfest celebrations in his home country.

It is reported by BILD that the German was staggering and smlled of alcohol, and that he had to be taken to the police station to undergo further tests because he couldn’t complete a breathalyser.

His driving licence is said to have been confiscated while police investigate the case.
