Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke is expected to be handed an England recall by Lee Carsley today.Â
The forward has hit an impressive run of form scoring three goals in as many matches for Ange Postecoglou’s side.Â
And interim head coach Carsley is set to pick Solanke in his squad to face Greece and Finland in the Nations League from next week.Â
The 27-year-old hasn’t played for England since 2017, when he came in as a substitute in a game against Brazil.Â
But he is now in line to have the chance to revive his international career.

Solanke is set to be rewarded for hitting the ground running at Spurs after his ÂŁ65m summer move from Bournemouth.

But he has looked sharp upon his return, and found the net in Tottenham’s wins over Brentford, Qarabag and Manchester United.
He is likely to join captain Harry Kane and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins as one of three striker options for Carsley.Â
