Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace has been soured after star goalkeeper Alisson was forced to come off with a hamstring injury.

Diogo Jota scored the only goal of the game in the ninth minute when he slotted home a low cross from Cody Gakpo.

However, Reds boss Arne Slot will nervously wait to learn the extent of damage done to Alisson after he departed the match in the 79th minute.

The Brazilian missed Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth with the same injury but returned the following week against Wolves.
