Ange Postecoglou could barely contain his frustration with a reporter when drawn on whether his Spurs side were capable of winning silverware this season.
Tottenham lost 1-0 at home to their biggest rivals Arsenal in the 196th north London derby, earlier on Sunday.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Tottenham boss was asked if he could replicate the second-season winning streak he’s maintained with every club he’s managed through his career.
Postecoglou struck a defiant tone in his response, but could barely conceal his irritation at the journalist’s who asked whether he could win a trophy in his second season at Spurs.
‘Yeah, absolutely,’ the Australian manger responded. ‘Am I going to answer the question or are you going to keep asking it?
‘No, absolutely. I’ll correct myself. I don’t usually win things, I always win things in my second year.
‘Nothing has changed. I don’t say things unless I believe them.’
Postecoglou has been criticised for Tottenham’s poor record for defending set-pieces but asserted he ‘doesn’t care’ about the criticism.
He said: ‘I know, I know, for some reason people think I don’t care about set pieces and it’s a narrative that you can keep going on for ages and ages.
‘I understand that. Like I said, we work on them all the time like we do for every other team.Â
‘You know that they’re a threat, as I said, for the most part, we handled them really well today, but we switched off for one and we paid a price and you learn from that and you move on.
‘But it is what it is, you know, it’s my burden to carry mate and I’m happy to do that.
‘It’s not like, like I’ve always said, for me, there’s a bigger picture that’s at play here that’s much more important than the finer details of us getting to where we want to.Â

At Celtic, Postecoglou failed to win anything in his first season in charge in 2020/21, but in his second campaign, 2021/22, he managed the team to a Scottish Premiership title and the Scottish League Cup title.
In Japan, he managed Yokohama F Marinos from 2017/18 onwards, steering the Japanese team to their first J League title in15 years.
He also won the Asian Cup with Australia in 2014/15, having taking on the top role for the men’s national team in 2013.
