Real Madrid forward Endrick has revealed why he ignored Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jnr before scoring his first Champions League goal.Â
The Spanish giants opened their defence of the Champions League with a 3-1 win over Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabeu .Â
Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring seconds into the second half, with Deniz Undav scoring to level the match before Antonio Rudiger put the hosts ahead again.Â
Enrick, having come off the bench, then scored his first goal in Europe’ top competition with a powerful long-range strike into the bottom corner after ignoring the option to pass to Mbappe and Vinicius Jnr who were on either side of him.Â
He jumped over the advertising hoardings and celebrated with fans behind the goal after sealing a hard-earned win for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.Â

The Brazil international told the media afterwards: ‘I knew I had Kylian and Vini, but at that moment the best option was to shoot’.Â
Real boss Ancelotti heaped praise on the 18-year-old, saying: ‘He has balls! Endrick had courage.Â
‘It was the last move of the game. He was convinced he’d score. He went for the most difficult solution, but it went well.
‘In these two days, he’s shown himself to be brave, in every sense.’
Endrick’s new model wife, Gabriely Miranda, was at the Santiago Bernabeu to watch him score his second goal of the season.Â
