Erling Haaland scores his 100th Man City goal in just his 105th game to equal a European record set by Cristiano Ronaldo

Erling Haaland completed a century of goals for Manchester City on Sunday when he opened the scoring against Arsenal in the ninth minute.

This was only the 105th game of Haaland’s City career, following his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in June 2022.

Haaland is now the joint-fasted player to reach 100 goals for a European club, after Cristiano Ronaldo reached his first tonne for Real Madrid on his 105th appearance back in 2011.

Haaland celebrated his 100th City goal by swinging a scarf above his head after it was thrown onto the field by a supporter.
