Harry Kane has been pictured arriving with members of the England squad despite giving Lee Carsley an injury scare when he limped off for Bayern Munich over the weekend.

The Three Lions captain was competing for a ball in the second half of a Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt when he clashed with an opposition player and was left crumpled on the turf and needing medical attention.

It appeared that Kane suffered an impact collision on his ankle and, unable to continue while grimacing in pain, he was hooked by Bayern boss Vincent Kompany.

Club physios could be seen attending to the striker’s right leg, massaging his groin as he lay in agony before Mathys Tel came on to replace him with roughly 20 minutes left.

To the shock of many England fans, Kane has now been spotted strolling into the side’s training camp at St George’s Park in Burton-on-Trent along with the rest of the squad ahead of Nations League clashes with Greece and Finland.

The striker earned his 100th cap for the Three Lions in the match against Finland at Wembley during the last international break and marked the occasion with two fine goals to earn his team a victory.

And England’s all-time record scorer looked in fine spirits this afternoon, sporting a beaming grin as he made his entry to the base.

The skipper was flanked by his charges, all clutching washbags and suitcases as they made the short walk from their supercars to the reception.

Among them was a very pleased-looking Dominic Solanke who is set to earn his first Three Lions nod since 2017 after scoring three goals in as many matches for Tottenham Hotspur.

Following shortly behind, Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon sported a cheeky grin and slightly more chic attire than the last time he was snapped entering an England camp.

In September, the talented wide man rocked up in Burton with his clothes stuffed into a black bin bag but on this occasion he fished out a designer bag for his arrival.

Kyle Walker earned a recall to the squad after being surprisingly axed last month while Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham re-entered the fray after some injury troubles. Both were pictured all present and correct at St George’s Park.

Phil Foden might have missed most of the season so far through a ‘mystery’ illness but the Manchester City man certainly looked ready for the international break, wheeling a suitcase more than half his side into the grand building.

The Nations League fixtures represent Lee Carsley’s second chance to impress after taking over from Gareth Southgate this summer.

The interim manager inched closer to receiving approval for the full-time gig with solid victories over Ireland in Dublin and against Finland.

The Three Lions looked rejuvenated particularly in the former match, boasting bags of energy in the midfield and pace on the counter attack as former Ireland internationals Jack Grealish and Declan Rice secure three points for England.
